  Situated on Broughton Street
Lane, the Outhouse is located moments from Jongleurs, The Playhouse Theatre, The Stand and
other free Venues at the Newsroom and Edinburgh
City Football Club.
Modern and stylish, the bar offers a wide
selection of drinks and also has a large and secluded beer garden for enjoying the summer
weather (if any appears this year!). Performances are held of free show upstairs in the
Loft from midday until 7pm, with a paid music show running every night in the evenings.
This is the 1st year the
Outhouse has been run by the Free Festival as a Free Venue, but it is not the first year
of shows at this venues - last year the venue was dark with the exception of one ad-hoc
show, after the previous free show promoter had departed from the venue the previous year
after running a series of shows there in 2007. |
