Bill Bruce
is a political satirist, social commentator and international 'troublemaker'. He was
semi-finalist in the Metro Life New Act Competition in 2003, and was a finalist in the
Laughing Horse New Act Competition in 2004 and the Ribbed New Act Competition, also in
2004.
He has appeared on
Channel 5, BBC and ITV and has guested on BBC Radio Scotland's Fred Macaulay Show and
Radio Five's Simon Mayo Show. He also writes a regular humorous column for a best-selling
music magazine.
He made his Edinburgh
Fringe debut in 2004 with his show "Dumbing Up" and followed this in 2005 with
"Political Hot Potato Vol.1" at Linsay's.
