When Anna was 6 she heard about the "frog Prince;" the
wonderful man who wanted honesty and true love. The wonderful man who would give her
"happily ever after."
Shes been searching for him since.
"I kissed a frog and it gave me herpes" is a
semi-autobiographical story of sex, kebabs and viking warriors. A look at how a naieve
girl can search for love in the most unlikely places, that will touch more than your funny
bone.
Does "Happily ever after" exist when we strip
"Prince Charming" down to bare facts? And is it worth catching an STD in the
pursuit of the perfect man?

Anna
Victoria graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2004 and
has since acted in varied works, from Theatre in Eductaion for 4yr olds (Titch Theatre
Co.), and independent films (part of the Liverpool Dock Tales season) to
television (Rob Brydons Annually Retentive - BBC3).
Anna wrote Ikissed a frog... and is delighted to see it reach fruition after much
work. A great believer in creating your own
destiny, Anna is hopeful that this years festival will lead to one full of creativity and
not waitressing. Whatever the outcome, she 'll
have a great time anyway and hopes you do too!
Rob
Smythson began his professional acting career at the age of 11 and things went
well (he made enough money to invest in an educated future). He took time away from
the stage and enrolled in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Since then
he's worked on a vast range of Theatre in Education pieces before coming to the decision
that his life has been on a steady downward spiral.
In
2007, he found himself, a broken man, blackmailed into performing by Anna Victoria. Using
his undoubtable talent and charm, the enigmatic Smythson remains optimistic that hell
get out of Edinburgh alive.
