The Agony and Ecstasy of Bingo Joe is a one-man show in which the audience plays a round of bingo with a man who has given his life to his craft. For an ever shrinking community, bingo is not a game, it's a way of life. Bingo Joe has devoted his life to perfecting the craft of bingo calling. Bingo Joe has forged a career despite all physical, mental, and societal limitations, but the rise of AI and automation may deal the deathblow to his profession and identity. Bingo is more than balls with numbers, sometimes it’s a number with balls.
