What are the ten best songs of all time? In this warm, funny, music-led stand-up show, Marc Burrows counts down his definitive top ten songs (no arguments), using them to tell the story of a life shaped by music, an autobiography told through bass guitar, bad sex and Britpop.

Originally performed at the 2014 Fringe ("A joyful celebration of the power of music ... possibly the coolest act on the fringe" - Broadway Baby ★★★★), Burrows brings back his most personal show informed by a decade in which he has played Glastonbury (three times!) and Download with a band, written four books on music and pop culture (the latest a #1 Best Seller on Amazon's Music Books chart) and toured the world.

Marc Burrows is a passionate music fan, and that’s what comes over most in this ten-song rundown complete with PowerPoint. He memorably describes one song as “sounding like running downhill feels”. While there’s a little bit of musicology, Burrows is a stand-up, so there’s a decent sprinkling of knob gags thrown in. Burrows’ selections aren’t a debatable ‘best songs’ list; it’s the ten songs that have personal meaning to him that “pin a moment in time to the board”. That personal quality makes the show quite relatable to an audience, so even if the type of music isn’t your thing, like me, you’ll probably be inspired to have your own top 10 songs playing in your head. Click Here
