The Family Friendly Edition of the award winning 'Comedy for the Curious show' (8+ Guidance).

Can we do life better using science? Join marine biologist turned award-winning comedian Robyn Perkins as her globally touring show of stand-up comedy and science chat returns. Learn why the puppy-dog look is so convincing. What the heck is a Nudibranch?! Why is your brother so annoying? Science has never been so useful!

In a hilariously refreshing show, science comedian Robyn Perkins tackles the science behind some of our favourite animals including Cats, Dogs & Humans. She is joined by one guest every day, which will be either a fellow comedian or a scientific expert. Either way, you'll get answers to questions you never knew you had. Think QI meets Mock the Week, for the whole family!

News and Reviews for this Show

August 21, 2024  Three Weeks
Robyn Perkins is on a mission to preach science and convert the incurious through the medium of comedy. She cleverly draws us in with the science of cats and dogs, having been prompted by her and her wife’s indecision: she took too long to do the research and ended up with the wrong choice (cat) but, in showing her working, she gets the young audience thoroughly engaged. There are good gags and plenty of audience interaction and the pace keeps up while the themes widen. Some variation, too, towards the end, as a daily guest contributor comes on for a bit – an expert on pigs in our case. Educational, informative and entertaining: public service comedy at its finest. Click Here
