 Allnutt and
Simpson present their debut sketch show, Two Wise Men. James Allnutt and David Simpson are
regulars on London’s comedy circuit, and won UKTV’s Comedy Smalls Award in 2009.
Their brand new show brings a surreal touch to life’s every-day problems. You can
expect encounters with the bitchier two of the Three Wise Men, a mid-murder handover
session between a pair of psycho killers, and the essential preparations for meeting Kevin
Costner.
Meanwhile King Arthur gets a ticking off for
trespassing on another tired old myth, and as a hostage situation in Mexico deteriorates,
the secret services know that a good translator is the most important man there. Plus don’t
miss the jokes that ruin a eulogy via text message, and the tout who’s managed to
acquire every single ticket for the Cup Final.
James and David have worked with the hit comedy entertainment producers Hat Trick, and
recently launched Sketchercise, the Time Out Recommended sketch and character night
featuring some of the finest acts on the circuit. James has written for the News Quiz,
whilst David has appeared in the new Channel 4 sketch show, ‘Happy Finish’, and
was previously named in the IDEASfactory Creative Class
