Three
Nights of Free Fun and Games with Everyone's Favourite Four-Stringed Instrument - and
Featuring The Uke Of Edinburgh Awards!
Tricity Vogue unleashes the off-beat delights of her beloved
uke night on the Edinburgh festival, with a star-studded line-up of special guests, plus
open mic and singalongs, all completely free.
And at every show, ukers can enter the open mic to win the coveted
Uke of Edinburgh Award, adjudicated by Carol Vorderman runner-up and uke-toting comedienne
Helen Arney.
Tricity will be joined by many of the finest performers from her
monthly London Ukelele Cabaret nights, plus an array of singers, comedians, musicians and
performers plucked from amongst the best shows on the Fringe. Whether they strum it,
juggle it, or do something even more inventive with their uke remains to be seen.
Join Miss Vogue and friends for a night of music, comedy and
impromptu antics that shows off the variety and huge fun you can get out of one tiny
instrument. Beg, borrow or steal a ukelele, and join the party.
Acts already signed up for one or more of Tricity's three Ukelele
Cabarets during the festival include:
Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer Lady Carol Desmond O'Connor Sarah-Louise
Young Dusty Limits Helen Arney Karauke Jo Stephenson Mat Ricardo Caroline Grannell Stu

Tricity Vogue's Ukelele Cabaret One of London's best-kept secrets, Tricity's free,
impromptu gathering for friends of the four strings has been going strong in a tiny bar in
Kings Cross for nearly three years. Internationally acclaimed musicians and performers
regularly rub shoulders with beginners to celebrate the tiny instrument that's taking over
the world.
