The (Almost) Carbon Neutral Comedy Club by Day presents a free afternoon show with minimal cost to the environment. Using no lights or microphones, the club brings you unplugged humour at its very best. Featuring boisterous compere Dan McKee and fantastic guest stand-ups from the national comedy scene. Don’t worry, no one’s going to try and turn you into a tree hugger; it’s just people being funny whilst trying to remain environmentally friendly.

The (Almost) Carbon Neutral Comedy Club is bringing two free compilation shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.

 Both shows will make you laugh whilst being kind to the environment, as Rob Coleman, the comic behind the idea, explains.

“On the one hand, these are simply two shows featuring people being funny. Rob Coleman (‘pure entertainment,’ West Midlands Comedy Forum), hilarious and hyperactive Tom Roche and Dan McKee (‘the wittiest man in Norwich...’ LOL Comedy Club) along with innumerable special guests, will tell jokes for an hour.”

“Equally, we’ve set ourselves the task of putting on shows at minimal cost to the environment. There’ll be no lights or microphones and we’ll be looking at ways to promote the shows that don’t involve massive amounts of paper.

“Don’t worry, though, the comedy itself isn’t about green issues and no one’s going to try and turn you into a tree hugger.”
