'Partisan Babies' is the story of two best friends, comrades,
brothers, confronted by life-changing decisions when their world is torn apart. Set in
Sarajevo, where an atrocious war has been raging; Slaven and Srdjan are ripped apart by
their patriotism, passion for change and their lust for each other . In desperation and
hiding, they visit their most painful memories in an attempt to understand their personal
and internal conflicts. 'Partisan Babies' explores their bond and its collapse,
unravelling their nostalgia to identify some greater truths. The play treads the fine line
between war, politics, youth, friendship and most importantly, love.
