Miss Googiepants (Michelle van Rensburg) is
back with her Cat, Shakespeare (Jayprakash van Rensburg) ready to rock and roll will silly
songs, creepy stories and funny poems with a sublime twist, with loads of cool
sounds on lead guitar for rock and roll lovers of all ages.
Miss Googie Pants is a lady who tells funny
stories for children to enjoy. I enjoyed it so did the teachers. I found the plot
interesting because she acted out all the characters which is hard to do for one person.
She was good at dancing. She put action into it. And her costume was nice. My favorite
part of the show was when she went to steal presents from the birthday person. But they
got her as she sneaked gently out of the door but the door gave a big bang. Before the
show is presented to another school it would be useful to make it longer and have more
characters so she doesnt have to do it by herself. I would recommend this show
because it is funny and entertaining and good costumes are used. Overall I would rate this
show as five stars. ***** Muron Bain, Gilmerton Primary School
This is an imaginative show in which the
vivacious Michelle Van Rensburg takes on the persona of Miss Googiepants and tells a
series of fantasy tales adapted from her husband Jay Van Rensburg's poems and stories.
There are some sneaky birthday present stealers, Snurglegurks (who eat dads), a boy who
picks his nose and an evil child catcher called the Jubgubbler. Michelle is a lovely
performer, dressed as a 1950s prom girl and surrounded by a variety of props and toys. She
effortlessly morphs into different characters with impressive dexterity and bags of
enthusiasm.
