 Alb is a lonely,
frustrated writer, still mourning the dissolution of his relationship with his ex,
Christina. He and his friend Tom manage to find a job writing for a mysteriously secretive
company. They find out they have been testing the possibility of writing people's dreams.
Alb decides to use the technology to write reoccurring dreams for the girl he loves in a
desperate attempt to win her back. The story goes on from there...
Ian Smith is an award-winning comedian and
writer, who has been described as "fantastically funny" by The Times and as a
"star of the future" by Time Out.
This is a short story, which will be adapted
into a theatre monologue. The finish product will hopefully be both funnier and more
upsetting, as well as being written a lot better.
The show is unmistakeably a work in progress reading.
Everyone in the audience will be invited to give feedback in whatever way they want/can
after.
Basically, this show will be an explosion of
F**KING LITERATURE.
