After a few years terrorising
communities around the country Gerry has finally decided to take a break from bustin
caps in asses to take his ˝ hour show to Edinburgh.
Gerry has performed at most of Londons top clubs
including The Comedy Store (Gong show winner), The Comedy Café, Roar with laughter, The
Bearcat and Downstairs at The Kings head. Added to his Gong Show success Gerry
has also appeared on Jimmy Carrs 2005 DVD as a finalist in Jimmy Carr Idol
Gerry is certainly unique as he draws on his
experiences from being The only black in the village right up to
his present day experiences as a husband and father of 35.
You never quite know what to expect as he skips between
anecdotal, observational and topical material. No stone is left unturned: If its
funny, its in.
From his big entrance to his proud departure his
'gangsta' persona was warmly embraced by the Knutters. His material was a great mix
of anecdotal, topical and observational - giving a great deal of substance to his
act - Steve -. Knuts Club Peterborough
"A natural with the audience, and somewhere
between a character and the real man, Gerry is a sure-fire hit!" - Peter (Grahame)
Walsingham- Downstairs at The Kings Head.
This will be his Edinburgh debut. Expect to see a lot
more of him and hear a lot more about him after this. DO BELIEVE THE HYPE! |
