Improvised Stand-Up comedy From Andrew J.
Lederer Andrew
J. Lederer became a comedian as a teenager and acted in such movies and
television programs as FAMILY TIES, THE FACTS OF LIFE, and FAME in addition to starring
roles in the movies OUT OF CONTROL and BODY COUNT (and an excised scene - later restored
on DVD - in SPINAL TAP).
A prominent
"alternative" performer (and producer), his projects include the long-running
SECOND SHOW and the one-person shows, PETULA CLARK'S GREATEST HITS, BRIDGE-BURNER, and ME
AND HITLER, all presented at the Edinburgh Festival.
Andrew has appeared in
motion pictures and on network television, written books, edited magazines, sung his heart
out and made the people laugh, yet he is humble still. A man of the people.
"Like all great
raconteurs, we actively enjoy hearing about his suffering, which becomes our entertainment
because his ability to tell enthralling comic stories is innate." - Chortle
"Taking few cues
from the ho-hum ba-dum-pum of some stand-up, Andrew J. Lederer is a conversationalist
comedian with a shifting rhythm all his own." - The Onion
"extremely funny .
. . highly insightful" - The Stage
"Possesses a wry
erudition that could turn the dullest dinner party into the social event of the
decade." - Metro
"Very funny and
whimsically prismatic." - Three Weeks |
