Finnegan's Wake is a brand new Fringe and Free Festival venue for
2011, and a fully refurbished bar re-opened in mid-2010 after a fire the previous year at
the neighbouring Khushi's restaurant. Finnegan's
Wake is a large music bar, well known for it's bands and music every night, and during the
Fringe will be no exception - during the day Free Festival show performances will take
place in their back room area, with the bands taking over from 8pm with Free music until
the early hours.
The venue is exceptionally well located next door to our Espionage
venue, and moments from the Royal Mile and Grassmarket, and very close to The
Underbelly and The Beehive.
The back room is located on the same floor as the main bar,
and is an intimate room which is fully wheelchair accessible, in a venue with full
facilities for disabled customers.
