The award winning Comedy Store and Jongleurs regular returns with a totally FREE show... And this time its personal-ish. No tickets! Its first-come first-mirthed!

After spending his first festival in 2005 living with a deaf bloke and a dwarf, tripping over little sets of step ladders and talking to somebody that never bloody listened, Chris returns with his second full length show and this time its best for everyone if he lives on his own!

His new show – Planes, Trains & Shameful Ordeals – follows the sequence of events leading up to the scheduled take off of a flight to Edinburgh earlier this year… Will the flight take off?… If so will Chris be on it?… And if he is will he be strapped down and sedated, or holding hands with the strange man next to him???

Going from the brink of becoming an MI5 spy to the winner of the Jongleurs Best Newcomer in 2004, Chris made it to pretty much every national final going in his first year in comedy.  He’s now already a regular at all the top clubs around the country including the world famous Comedy Store.

Although his stand-up is for adults, parents of small children will know him as Rudi the Market Trader on the Cbeebies show ‘Me Too!’, whilst those without younger kids should be grateful they don’t!

"He has a wit so dry he'd make Death Valley look positively verdant. He has an engaging personality that never threatens us and makes the humour a delight to listen to and finally he has the greatest gift any comedian can have; timing. He delivers his punchlines with all the precision of a Stealth Bomber." - www.EdinburghGuide.com

"McCausland takes you in gently and while he distracts you with some really good off-the-cuff-stuff, you do not even notice that he has you in his palm for the unexpected whirlwind of his exhilarating wrap up routine. Pure joy." - The Stage

McCausland proves that funny is funny whether you can see it or not" - The Guardian Guide
