introduction to the cultureof beer drinking. Sometimes there will be Freibier. But there
will be more thanbeer. For the unattached, there will be education in the traditional
wooingmethods of Fensterln (windowing). In this, boy climbs up to window, maidenrejects
boy and boy leaves scene in flood of proper, ancient swear words asonly a Bavarian could
utter. He is, of course, undefeated, and moves on to thenext fancy maidens window.
There will be no
Lederhosen. We preferdirndl dresses and ample cleavages to leather shorts and
thigh-slapping. Somestereotypes are better left at home when discussing Bavarias richcultural heritage.
