Comic double-act Ham Yard Tourists present
approximately one hour of high octane, exciting, fresh and most importantly of all, free,
stand-up comedy.

Kevin Bishop (not the kid from Muppet Treasure
Island) & Kevin Stayner (not the German porn star) met in 1995 at Yeovil
College in sleepy Somerset and bonded over a love of Vic & Bob, The Muppet Show,
Ginsters Chicken & Mushroom slices and cheesy chips (only one of these has influenced
their comedy.....they really did love those slices!). However these two soul mates went
their seperate ways after a couple of years to discover new horizons and opportunities
only to realise after almost a decade that they were both fast running out of friends so
started spending time together again and eventually formed Ham Yard Tourists in early
2006. The name coming from the fact that now based in London they were able to borrow an
office in the Ham Yard part of Soho which presented them with the opportunity to ensure
they didn't end up being called "The Two Kevins".
They had a successful run of their debut show
All in the Timing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006 which they followed
up in 2007 with a short run of a new show at The Etcetera Theatre, London as part of the
Camden Fringe. They are fast establishing themselves on the London stand-up circuit with
regular gigs at venues such as The Laughing Horse, The Bedford, Balham, Comedy at the
Kirk, Monkey Business, Roehampton University, Electric Mouse and Journey Central.
They are very excted to be presenting their new full length
show 'About an Hour' at this year's Edinburgh Fringe and believe they have the
perfect show for any audiences looking for late night banter, satire, puns and the odd bit
of violenet slapstick.
