The fearless Improv Wolves create completely new comedy characters, scenes and stories on the spot from audience suggestions.Every show is different! We might see a film noir detective pastiche, hear surprising confessions from some of the most famous names in history or have the dubious honour of being present for the debut of a brand-new improvised song.

| News and Reviews for this Show
| July 28, 2026 Midlands Fringe | | Improv Wolves Review | | Very clever and we were rolling with laughter from start to finishExpect the unexpected! I attended expecting a prewritten show which the improvisers would fit loosely around audience suggestions, with the most tenuous links. The setting was the upstairs room of a quality real ale bar in Wolverhampton centre on a warm Sunday evening. The room filled up a while before the show started, with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We welcomed Robert Lane and Laurence Saunders to the stage. The audience were asked for suggestions, with such random ideas as ‘fighting over the last pack of digestive biscuits in Heron foods’ or ‘don’t put anything in your ear larger than your elbow’ coming forward. Robert and Laurence made short work of these coming back with hilarious quips with expert comedy timing. The show was presented as a series of games. Including ‘Date Night’, ‘Play Book’ and ‘First Date’, which involved audience members sharing details of their lives with the rest of us, but in a truly hilarious way. My favourite game was ‘Fortune Tell Her’ with medium Madam Lane, brilliant. There was also a ditty made up on the spot about genital warts - another audience suggestion. The show was very clever and we were rolling with laughter from start to finish. The only downside for me was that I would miss a joke as I was laughing so hard at the last one.A brilliant, quick-witted and unusual show. I would urge you to go and see Improv Wolves, you won’t be disappointed. They are taking their show to Edinburgh and details of future shows can be found at www.improvwolves.co.uk . Click Here |
