Everything's expensive and everybody's broke. Is this a rhyme, or is this a joke?

Come join Liam Jackson for an extended set from one of Edinburgh's most exciting new comedians!

Liam Jackson brings a hilarious show to this year's Fringe, documenting his precarious experiences in the increasingly dire world of work and being broke in cost-of-living crisis times. Expect biting observations from unemployment to Scottish culture, and personal anecdotes on travel and relationships that are in equal parts sincere and hysterical!

Liam regularly performs stand-up around Scotland.

‘Jokes, material and great delivery. Big laughs throughout. Also… Funny!’ - The Stand

'Definitely a comedian I’d like to see more of in the future.' - One4Review

News and Reviews for this Show

I have to admit I’m a bit of a fan of Liam Jackson and I’m delighted to be able to review his show (0BC) at this years Fringe. In one of this years mad venues at the Flight Club at Laughing Horse, its half comedy venue half 747 jet plane. Part of this years Free Fringe, the place was packed out on a fairly quiet Tuesday night.

A truly international crowd were fully entertained to Jacksons well constructed 60 minute show. Never a dull moment, plenty of clever observations, this Edinburgh local lad covers a vast range of material with humour, sarcasm and smartly created punchlines.

He’s pretty well travelled, and his stories went down particularly well for those of us sat in half of a Ryanair flight. I actually felt like we were going to take off at one point. He has a certain swagger and confidence on stage and his crowdwork is definitely growing. At times, you’re never quite sure where his show is heading, which is great as it keeps us guessing and this adds to the spontaneity.

I hope this Fringe acts as a springboard to help take his comedy career to the next level. Watch this space. Click Here
