August 8, 2024  Three Weeks As the trademark infringement-dodging title suggests, this show derives inspiration from the famous tabletop roleplaying game (of which no prior experience is required). Donal is our genial Irish Dungeon Master, the game’s storyteller and referee. He is joined onstage by one guest comedian and two young audience members taking the role of the characters. Their story is shaped by audience suggestions regarding the treasure they seek and the nature of their enemies, with the outcomes of their actions determined by the roll of a dice. That’s enough moving parts to cause some chaos, which Donal embraces and renders hugely entertaining with enough quick wit to get laughs out of the kids and the adults in equal measure: a critical hit. Click Here
