I am a 60 (My God) year old diagnosed autistic adult, who worked for the National Autistic Society for nearly 18 years until they massacred 500 of us. I originally come from Liverpool and have substantial experience of theatre performance and training. Lots of shows and fun. I am married to another autistic and published my (formerly Aspies) Guerilla Autistics book in December 2014. I brought the show of the book to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015, and have returned again 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 and 2023. I Love it. I founded the Stealth Aspies entirely autistic theatre company in 2017 which is now renamed THE Neurospace Collective.
I have also performed it in Dublin, London, and specialist venues such as the Henshaws college in Harrowgate and St. Andrews Healthcare, Nottingham (a secure unit. My kind of gig) as well as Newcastle and Nottingham for the National Autistic Society. I performed at the Swindon and Brighton fringes in 2016. I performed twice for the Assist Charity in Brighton, latterly in the DukeBox theatre. We even had a fringe event to the XI European Autism Congress only a few weeks after the Edinburgh festival 2016, at which I returned to play the show to an audience of my peers in the Voodoo Rooms that september.
