Alistair Aitcheson

Clown and game developer Alistair Aitcheson makes interactive shows that mix video game technology with improvisation and chaos. His debut show The Incredible Playable Show won the Jury Choice Award from the IndieCade Festival of Independent Games in 2017, and has been performed in Los Angeles, Hamburg, Paris and across the UK. Drawing on a 15-year background as an indie game developer, Alistair's shows get the audience up and about, running around and playing games with anything from inflatables to paper shredders. His shows give everyone the chance to get involved, be creative and make each other laugh. Alistair was the recipient of the Bernie de Koven Big Fun Award from IndieCade in 2025, honouring his achievements helping audiences get creative and bringing playfulness to the stage.
