SANCHIE is a dynamic musical duo from Sydney, Australia and seamlessly blends the soulful vocals and songwriting of Santino Salvadore with the emotive violin of Archie Petrie. Hailing from Sicily and Scotland respectively, their performances offer a rich tapestry of heartfelt melodies and dynamic rhythms. Santino's musical journey began in Sicily, where he immersed himself in Italian pop-rock and singer-songwriter traditions. His passion for storytelling through music led him to Sydney via Edinburgh! Along the way, Santino has performed many, many hundreds of live gigs since 2015. Archie, a classically trained violinist from Scotland, brings a rich, classical and Celtic flair to SANCHIE’s live performances. His versatility allows him to adapt to various musical genres, enhancing the duo's sound with depth and emotion. Together, SANCHIE deliver a captivating mix of original compositions—ranging from soulful ballads to punchy anthems—enhanced by the emotive resonance of the violin.
