 Sophie Banister
Sophie Banister is an Australian actor, writer, comedian and musician based in London. Mostly known for musical comedy filled with whimsy and “charming geekery”, Sophie has performed internationally in comedy clubs and toured her one woman cabarets (Swoon, All Day Breakfast, This Could Be You!) in the Australian fringe and comedy festival circuit. She hosts and produces her own variety shows and live events from pubs to audiences of 600 and more, and in 2024 released her first EP of musical comedy songs ‘In My Pits’. Beyond creating her own work, Sophie also works as a vocalist, in disability-led community arts and on radio.
