Terry O'Neill
Terry is a Dublin based actor and comedian who appeared in many of Irelands biggest films and TV shows over the last couple of years earning some rave reviews in the process including a supporting role in MICHAEL INSIDE (now on Netflix) and the leading role in Alan Gilsenans' challenging and 5 star reviewed film THE MEETING.
TV work includes supporting roles in RTE shows REBELLION, LOVE/ HATE and STRIKING OUT. As well as DAWN for MGM/ HULU.
On stage he has played all the major theatres in Ireland, including the Abbey, the Gate and the Gaiety theatre.
Terry recently starred in Screen Ireland films RED LAKE and TOO SLOW and up coming focus Ireland films PUNCH UP AT A WEDDING and TRYING.
As a stand up Terry's mix of tight material interwoven with silly improvisation has been tickling audiences in comedy clubs all around Ireland and he has headlined at many of them. He is a veteran of several festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Vodafone comedy festival and Dun Laoghraire comedy festival. Terry has played support to acts such as Simon Munnery, Des Bishop and David McSavage. He was also a regular MC at the famous International comedy club in Dublin. His debut solo show ROPE-A-DOPE played to packed houses for a full run at City Cafe (Las Vegas room) for 25 nights last year. Upon returning to Ireland the show played at theatres such as the Civic theatre and had a 2 week run at Bewleys theatre earning fabulous reviews and playing to sold out audiences. An Irish tour is upcoming later in 2024' starting with dates in May at Droichead theatre, Drogheada and moving on to the Viking theatre, Clontarf with more dates to follow. Terry has also started his own comedy club "Icarus Comedy" every week at Bruxelles famous bar in Dublin beginning Jan 16th with David McSavage headlining.
