What is the history?

Laughing Horse Comedy has many years of experience in running Live Comedy Venues. Our original venue opened in 1998 in Kingston, called "Peppermint Thursdays" - and this was followed by the first "Laughing Horse", at the "Black Horse" Pub in Richmond - and this is how we hot out name!

Over the years we have promoted comedy and supplied performers for over 400 venues and companies, we quickly expanded across London and the UK in the early 2000s, started the new act awards and then gradually into our Festival business.

Laughing Horse started to produce shows and run festival venues  in Edinburgh in 2004, and this led to the comedy courses  and move into festival and comedy production - which led onto our work at The Brighton Fringes,  Australian Festivals and around the world.
