Carl Donnely started
performing stand-up regularly in early 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the
most exciting new comics currently climbing the comedy ladder. Despite being a relative
newcomer, his confident, conversational style and silly sense of humour has seen him
become a regular act and MC at clubs all over the country.
Chris Martin
is one of the newest and most exciting acts to hit the comedy circuit. His wholly original
social commentary, observations and anecdotes are his trade mark. He brings intelligent
material as well as energy to any comedy room. Being the resident compere at Ra-ha-ha
(Newcastle University gig) means he has to churn out new material every 2 weeks, however,
he is not just an act for students as he enjoys performing to, and is well received by a
variety of crowds.
Australian comedian Benny
Boot is young and sickeningly talented. Benny has played all over Australia and
recently moved to London to perform. His skills as a comic are ever improving and he is
fast making a name for himself on the London comedy circuit. In September Benny was
invited to the Vancouver Comedy festival. His fast paced, surreal, off beat comedy keeps
the laughter rolling through the entire show and is guaranteed to bring any audience
undone.
